There are only a few days left to get your nominations in for the People of the Year awards, and recognise a local hero in your area
It’s been a year where there have been plenty of people who deserve to be recognised, but is there one local hero in your area who you think deserves the award?
With only three days left to go until the nominations close, if there’s someone who has inspired you with their courage and their determination, then get their name in the hat by sending in your nomination.
Here’s two lads that we think might deserve a mention, Aiden Murphy and Paul Quinn who set off on a 15,000km cycle from Dublin to Sydney to raise money for a couple of decent causes, including breast cancer.
We only cycle in to work and that’s tiring enough, so we can only imagine how much effort the lads have put in to finish off their cycle.
If you have a local hero who deserves some recognition, or an organisation that makes a difference to your community, get your nomination in and show them that the hard work they do is valued.
