After a recent attempt at trying to crack the US, The Rubberbandits will tackle the UK audience after securing a deal with Channel 4.

It’s not often producers from Inger-land come calling for Irish comedy acts and usually those who get the opportunity to crack a smile from our straight-laced neighbours do so, in emphatic style.

The Limerick comedy duo will begin work with BAFTA award-winning director Declan Lowney to make three comedy shorts for a new online talent series called Comedy Blaps.

“Channel 4 want to confuse the British public with the help of Declan Lowney who directed Father Ted in exchange for the Queen’s shilling. Ah go on so…for the laugh,” one of the ‘bandits told the Limerick Leader.
