Tasty.

If you’ve ever ordered a tasty salad in the Chopped restaurant on St Stephen’s Green, Dublin then you’ll know that the demand for healthy, fresh and tasty food is sky high. Good news then because five new Chopped outlets have been announced with 110 jobs set to be created. The positions on offer, a mix of full and part time, include new store managers, supervisors, breakfast chefs and choppers.

Immediate positions are to be filled at five new Chopped locations that are opening across Dublin and Kildare in the next month. There’s additional good news for jet-setters because one of the locations will be in The Loop at Dublin Airport – set to open on October 24th, creating 15 jobs.

Newbridges’s Whitewater Shopping Centre, Kildare will be the first Chopped to open outside of Dublin.

In addition to these two new locations, three other outlets will open over the next month in Dublin with the Pavilions Shopping Centre in Swords, O’Connell Street and Talbot Street all set to have new eateries.  Chopped allows customers to ‘create their own salad’ experience in minimum time. Crisp lettuce, garden vegetables, salad dressings, and more than 30 ingredients are ‘chopped’ and freshly dressed into a unique salad bowl or in a savoury wrap.

Chopped was recently named as Ireland’s “Best Emerging Franchise” at the Irish Franchise Awards in April with co-founder Brian Lee named as a finalist in the “Best Emerging Entrepreneurs” category at the 2016 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
