Good guy Ladbrokes accepting a bet for charity song Tiny Dancer for Lily Mae Morrison to hit number 1 is just great. Potential payout for the charity? €5,000.

The fund raising effort for four-year-old Lily-Mae Morrison is one of the more heartwarming stories of 2012. The little girl from Galway is battling a rare form of cancer and a charity single, Tiny Dancer, has been recorded by a choir aided by celebrities like Mary Black, Tom Dunne and Paddy Casey.

The song has already been a massive hit on YouTube, with over 50,000 hits in just three days. It has even gotten the endorsement of the songwriter, Elton John, who tweeted about the song this week.

With all the proceeds going to the Sunni-Mae Trust to raise funds for Lily-Mae’s treatment, you shouldn’t need more encouragement to buy it but here it is.

Ladbrokes have allowed Dave Gallagher place a €500 bet on the song reaching Number 1 at odds of 9/1 and he sent us the picture to prove it.

We think the €5,000 return, all of which will go to the charity of course, is already in the bag but every little helps so go out and buy the single.
