The morals of street traders, Indian curries and the colour of sand are just some of the issues dealt with in our latest look at the some of the most outrageously stupid holiday complaints ever made.
If you’ve been following this series of articles so far (click here and here for more ridiculous holiday complaints), you’ll know that blaming a tour operator for an unplanned pregnancy and well-endowed elephants making male tourists feel inadequate are just some of the ridiculous complaints that have made their way into the Thomas Cook offices over the years.
Because of the fact that there is no end of incredibly hard to satisfy tourists out there, in turn there seems to be no end to the amount of absolutely crazy moans and whinges from those just returned from their own very mildly inconvenienced trips abroad.
This selection should give you an idea of what you shouldn’t really have cause to complain about if you’re jetting off this year. Enjoy.
Then you shouldn’t have gone to India...
"On my holiday to Goa in India, I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry. I don't like spicy food at all."
But skinny-dipping can be fun...
“We booked an excursion to a water park but no-one told us we had to bring our swimming costumes and towels.”
Don’t eat the yellow sand...
"We found the sand was not like the sand in the brochure. Your brochure shows the sand as yellow but it was white."
From such reputable dealers? Frankly, we’re astonished...
"We bought 'Ray-Ban' sunglasses for five Euros from a street trader, only to find out they were fake."
Who’d have thunk it?
"I compared the size of our one-bedroom apartment to our friends' three-bedroom apartment and ours was significantly smaller."
Do those holiday complaints have you dreaming of a trip of your own? If so, head on over to the Thomas Cook website for some great deals in a variety of destinations.
