It’s bad enough to print a map that claims Dublin is only a stone’s throw off the east coast of Scotland, but it’s even worse when the error is published in a travel magazine.
We’re sure a lot of you hated geography classes back in the day, but whoever created this map for a travel magazine over in the UK must have absolutely loathed the subject…
I hate to break it to you TNT magazine but that’s Scotland not Ireland #epicmapfail pic.twitter.com/6YTwE0Or4c — Samantha Barry (@samanthabarry) October 14, 2013
Samantha Barry, a journalist and social media producer for the BBC, spotted the error in TNT Magazine, a free magazine that focuses on travel, jobs and tips on living in London.
Someone obviously just dropped the location names over the wrong part of the map as the distances between Dublin, Cork and Ennis all look fairly accurate. Sadly, that’s where the accuracy ends with this map.
