Fan asks Twitter for 1000 retweets before invading game. Guess what happened?

Dylan Masone took entering the field of play to a whole new level last night in New York, even if his Ma wasn’t too happy.

As happens every now and then, last night’s showpiece baseball game, the All-Star Game at Citi Field in New York, was invaded by a fan. But the story of Dylan Masone’s pitch invasion is definitely the most social media driven pitch invasion in hstory. Just before the game started, Dylan tweeted this.

We don’t have TV footage of his run onto the pitch but we do have this remarkable GIF of him being slammed to the floor by security, via Barstool Sports. Dylan hasn’t tweeted since his ‘picture of the fence’ tweet but we hope he’s okay. And don’t try this in Croker kids…
