There's few things over the next few weeks that will excite the Irish population as much as the Fine Gael ard fheis at the end of next week.
The thought of Enda Kenny giving his leaders address to the party faithful may just thrill many of them skinny, but many other won't be as pleased.
The Evening Herald reports that both the party and gardaí are worried about possible demonstrations outside the National Convention Centre, where the event is being held.
Some bright spark in Fine Gael HQ thought it'd be the most fantastic idea to have Enda Kenny's speech on the same day as the next €3.1 billion tranche is due on the Anglo promissory notes.
Couple that with the household charge, sceptic tanks and waters charges and you've got yourself an angry mob.
Gardaí think they may even have to close a section of the quay to deal with the onslaught of unhappy voters. Whether that transpires or not, there's sure to be a large garda presence as part of the huge security operation.
Members of the now moved on Occupy Dame Street movement are just some of the declared protestors.
