Manchester United looked to be heading into the Capital One Cup final against Manchester City as they led deep into injury time through Jonny Evans' goal. Then this happened. United A speculative shot by Phil Bardsley somehow squirmed through David de Gea and into the United net. Somehow, Javier Hernandez - who had missed a gilt-edged chance for United - scored a minute later from an Adnan Januzaj cross to bring it to penalties. And what a shootout, with miss after miss culminating in sudden death. Up stepped Rafael, whose effort failed to find the back of Vito Mannone's net, leaving the ecstatic Sunderland fans facing a clash with City at Wembley next month.
