Forget your winter breaks, this Stephen’s Day football is the absolute business
Wayne Rooney saw his Manchester United side go two goals down early on in this game against Hull, but they have responded fantastically by grabbing two goals in just twelve minutes to draw the scores level.
Rooney’s goal was something special too, as he caught this ball on the half volley after a knock down from Welbeck, and hit it straight in to the top corner, leaving goalkeeper Allan McGregor, who looks to be nursing an injury after a collision with Ashely Young, with no chance of stopping it.
That makes Rooney only the second player ever to score 150 Premier League goals for one club, and he’s done it in style today. Here’s a different angle of that strike again.
Woof. You can keep your winter break Europe, we’ll take more of this please.
