It's only taken three months but iPhone users can finally leave the house without fear of getting stranded on a desert island thanks to the new Google Maps app for iPhone.
Do you hate being stranded 70km away from your chosen destination because your sh*tty iPhone map took you off course? Well fear not, because Google Maps has finally returned to the iOS platform.
The world’s most used online mapping software hit the App Store late last night to the delight of many Apple users.
Apple Maps proved to be a bridge too far for the company and it even prompted Apple CEO Tim Cook (pictured above) to issue a public apology. He even went as far as recommending that Apple users switch to different mapping software while Apple tried to fix the problem.
As the old saying goes, 'if it isn't broken, don't fix it.'
