That shameful picture of you wearing light-up reindeer antlers can actually do some good this Christmas. Here’s how.
Christmas is a time for family, catching up with old friends and fashion disasters. The normal rules of what is acceptable to wear, like tinsel as an accessory for example, go out the window as ‘special’ jumpers and novelty headgear become commonplace.
Thanks to the advent of Facebook, those slightly shameful images are now very public property and everyone from your granny to your boss has at least one embarrassing photo floating around on Mark Zuckerberg’s baby.
But Christmas is also a time to think of others, especially those less fortunate than most, and now thanks to 7Up you can give them a hand with your dodgy Chrimbo pics.
It couldn’t be simpler. Just go to the 7Up website, upload your seasonal shocker and the good people at 7Up will donate €1 to the Simon Community, a charity that helps the homeless.
The site will take four types of pictures. Ones of people, ones of houses, ones of workplaces and the most intriguing of all, ‘all sorts’.
So far 7Up have donated over €13,000 to the charity thanks to snaps uploaded but they want to do more so you have to upload more. Just click here to learn more about the ‘Up for Christmas’ campaign and help out someone this Christmas at the touch of a button.
