A Russian woman previously pronounced dead woke up at her own funeral, only to die again from shock at the prospect of being buried alive.
After 49-year old Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov collapsed at her own home after suffering from chest pains, obviously inept doctors assumed she was dead and pronounced her deceased shortly after.
The doctors’ grave mistake became apparent when grieving friends and family filed past her coffin at her funeral, only to be shocked at the sight of Mukhametzyanov waking up and screaming as she realised where she was.
Unfortunately for Fagilyu, however, her second shot at life was all too brief, as after she was rushed to hospital, she survived for only 12 minutes before passing away yet again, for good this time.
Devastated husband Fagili Mukhametzyanov said: “Her eyes fluttered and we immediately rushed her back to the hospital but she only lived for another 12 minutes in intensive care before she died again, this time for good.
“I am very angry and want answers. She wasn’t dead when they said she was and they could have saved her.”
Hospital spokesman Minsalih Sahapov added: “We are carrying out an investigation.”
Presumably, their job will be to make sure that she is actually dead this time around.
