It’s all about the hashtag for these 7 wildcard Start-ups.

The second year of the massively successful AIB Start-up Academy, in association with the Irish Times, is about to kick-off, and there is still room for just one more Start-up business.

Ten of the Irish Start-ups have already been selected by a panel of judges, with an additional wildcard Start-up to be chosen by readers of JOE.ie and Her.ie.

These seven wildcard Start-ups have all posted short videos, explaining what their business has to offer. You can watch them again here.

Now, it’s up to you to decide who the lucky 11th AIB Start-up Academy will be!

Each start up will have their own unique hashtag and the winner will be selected based on the number of mentions this hashtag receives on Twitter.

These are the choices…

  • Eoghan McGregor – Wod HolidaysLimited #VoteWodHolidays
  • Niall Doran – Boxing News and Views #VoteBoxingNAV
  • Botrand Tarcsay – Shoployal
  • #VoteShoployal
  • Sean Greif – Moontour
  • #VoteMoontour
  • Niall Moloney – Pow Cow Frozen Yogurt #VotePowCow
  • Laura Nagamine – Pretty in Petite

  • Jenny Reynolds – Topper Technology #VoteTopperTech

The winner and two runners-ups of the eight week business launch pad will share a prize package of €250,000, with the overall winner receiving a direct €20,000 cash investment.
