A new textbook, to be used at GCSE level in Northern Ireland, refers to hurling as a foreign sport.
The book, produced by the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA), refers to Aussie Rules, baseball and hurling as sports that "originally came from different countries and are played here."
The CCEA have said that was not their intention and they have promised that future editions "worded more clearly".
