Possibly Ireland’s biggest pothole has been filled in by Cork County Council after THAT video went viral.
By Declan Whooley
Liam Keane took to his shorts to hop into the five foot pothole on the mountainside roadway at Lismire, near Kanturk at Christmas and the video has reached more than 60,000 views worldwide.
Cork County Council got wind of the video and acted quickly and Liam told the Irish Independent that he can be thanked for helping to improve Irish roads.
“The minute the video went up and got the views the council appeared up there and filled in the hole within 24 hours,” he said.
“So basically if you want your pothole filled, get on to me,” he added.
No more roadside swimming in this part of North Cork.
