Are you an experienced electrician who’s currently out of a job? Well a power firm in Australia is currently offering the opportunity of a lifetime…

An Aussie power company is looking for Irish electricians to help out down under due to a serious lack of skilled workers in the Melbourne area.

The unnamed firm who’s working with an Irish-based recruiter is offering a six-figure salary, a four-year work visa (which includes bringing the wife and kids), free flights to Australia and other benefits designed to make the move go as smoothly as possible. Sounds pretty good, right?

The firm is specifically looking for network technicians who have distribution experience on low voltage power lines.

Perspective applicants should send their CVs into [email protected]. If you’re lucky enough to be chosen for the interview process then you’ll have to make yourself available to come up to Dublin between the 3 and 14 of December.

Successful candidates will be informed within a week of the interview and then you’ll be off to Oz after the visa screening process. It could turn out to be a nice Christmas for a few unemployed electricians.
