Kanye West was in Dublin last week for a couple of concerts, but in between all the show madness he managed to fit in a trip to Storm Cinema… in Portlaoise.
The superstar cocksure rapper decided he’d better be chillin’ with the homeboys in Portlaoise last Thursday. Even world famous musicians need to see Prometheus you know.
Shocked locals spotted Kanye as he took his seat for the sci-fi flick. The man himself was obviously a little put off by this and pulled up his hood in a vain effort to conceal his identity. He may have been successful if it wasn’t for his darn 12-strong entourage.
According to the Laois Nationalist a spokesperson for the cinema chain confirmed that Kanye West visited the sleepy backstreet cinema – twice!
West enjoyed the first showing of Prometheus 3D so much that he went back and watched it again on Sunday night. The international star obviously evaded detection because any sane Irish person was watching our opening Euro 2012 match against Croatia.
The next obvious question is who’s going to be going to the cinema in Portlaoise tomorrow night when we take on Spain?
West posed for photos after film as can be seen in the photo above sent into iRadio by local Portlaoise lads who got to pose with West.
The reason he went to Storm Cinema in Portlaoise? Well it’s reported he was staying nearby in the swanky house at Ballyfin Demense.
