James Bond enthusiasts are expected to make their way to the Treaty County this weekend with an extensive collection of 007 memorabilia going under the hammer.

Female followers of the secret agent will be disappointed that Daniel Craig, or even Pierce Brosnan will not be in attendance on Saturday at the Limerick Auction Rooms at 1pm, for what is expected to draw many die-hards to the city.
Brosnan’s autograph along with those of Sean Connery and Roger Moore, first edition books from author Ian Fleming, casino chips used in Licence to Kill, a 1965 James Bond annual and a rare poster signed by Brosnan, Connery, Moore, Timothy Dalton, Judy Dench, Sophie Marceau, Jane Seymour, and Denise Richardswill all be up for grabs.
According to The Limerick Leader, there will be more than 100 items up for sale at the auction which is already attracting interest from buyers as far afield as California, with many seeking to lodge phone and internet bids.
