Rob Kearney has been having some difficulty with a hamstring injury on the Lions Tour so far but he looks as if he’ll have been nursing a sore noggin as well if this photo is anything to go by.
The Lions landed in Perth in recent days as preparations for the test series against the Wallabies really crank into gear and while the conditions will have been a welcome relief from the stifling heat of Hong Kong, Rob Kearney wouldn’t have been so relieved when a ball smacked him right on the kisser, a moment that was captured with textbook timing by Dan Sheridan of Inpho.

While we sympathise with Rob for his misfortune, it’s also good to see him up and on his feet and hopefully it won’t be too long before he makes his debut in this series having been such an impressive tourist in South Africa four years ago.
Saying that, we look forward with interest to seeing what Rob has to say about the incident in his latest video diary which will be up on the site later this week.
Chin up Rob, at least it didn't hit you in the groin...
