The story is gathering legs and the sources are rock solid…
A few weeks ago Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers categorically denied that they were making a move for AC Milan and Italy striker Mario Balotelli. That made us sad because we’d love to see Mario back in the Premier League for a few reasons – his footballing ability and the fact that he’s liable to do almost anything, pure entertainment.
However, our hope has been revived as reports cross channel tonight say that the Reds and Milan have opened talks about a possible transfer. The Times’ Tony Barrett is close to everything that happens at Anfield and he confirmed the story on Twitter earlier…
The situation with Liverpool & Balotelli has moved on in the last 12 hours or so. An initial loan inquiry has led to talks with AC Milan.

What do you think, football fans? Would be be a good signing for Liverpool or would it best to stay away from the former Manchester City man?
