Does anyone else get the get the feeling Louis Van Gaal is loving the speculation surrounding him and the Manchester United job? Because he’s acting very coy and very cocky about the whole thing.
That theme continued at a press conference for the Dutch national side today as he batted off questions about the post at Old Trafford saying, “No, I would not say anything about it. I am here for the Dutch team, not as a coach of Manchester United.”
The 62-year old also hinted that there us interest from another club; we’re guessing it’s Tottenham, who sacked Tim Sherwood today.
Van Gaal’s quotes may be an attempt to put a little bit of pressure on the United hierarchy, as he added: “You’ll have to wait until the process is finished or (put) questions to Manchester United – or perhaps to another club. I cannot say anything further about it.”
It seems only a matter of time, but we’d like them to get on with it already.
