The former Liverpool player’s ban ends at midnight on the 24th of October, which is a Friday night.

Luis Suarez will be free to play for Barcelona in the first Clasico of the season against Real Madrid, despite the match being moved forward to Saturday 25th October.

The game will take place at 6pm on the Saturday, with Suarez’s ban for biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini during this summer’s World Cup Finals ending 18 hours previously.

Suarez joined Barcelona this summer from Liverpool despite receiving a four-month FIFA ban and made his first appearance for the club in a friendly against Mexican side FC Leon last month.
