The old saying goes ‘don’t get mad, get even’ but we have never heard the phrase ‘get mad, dump loads of dog sh*t in protest’.
One man in Stoke in England didn’t appreciate having his dole cut so he took drastic, and fairly disgusting action in retaliation.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, 21-year-old Simon Bonnell turned up at his local dole office 10 minutes too late to sign on and was turned away. Rather than do what he was told and ring the office to sort out his missed payment, Bonnell had another idea.
He went home, grabbed a bin bag, went to the local park and filled it with dog poo. A lot of dog poo. 10kgs of dog poo to be precise. He then headed back to the dole office – after a break midway due to the weight of faeces he was hauling – and proceeded to dump the messy gift all over the foyer of the office.
Understandably, the poor folks in the dole office weren’t too happy and banned him from the building for three months. Bonnell was also fined £200 and made to pay for the carpet cleaning.
Funnily enough, the ban from the office means he ends up missing out on £600 of benefits too as he can’t go there to collect them.
As for Bonnell, he doesn’t sound too remorseful in the quotes the Mail carry.
"The staff spoke to me like I was dirt and said they would stop my money. I was angry when I was on the telephone but there was a baby next to me and so I didn't swear.
“Looking back I was glad I did what I did at the time. I just felt so mad. I just want to get a job as I don't want to be on the dole.”
A job as a pooper scooper is our best suggestion.
