Eoin Morgan has helped England cricketers win the ICC World Twenty20 final in a superb seven-wicket victory over Australia in Barbados yesterday.
Craig Kieswetter and Kevin Pietersen provided the necessary ammunition with the bat for England, hitting 111 with ease between them, before allowing captain Paul Collingwood to come in and finish off the Aussies.
Morgan wasn’t called upon for heroics yesterday but the Dubliner has played a pivotal role for England on the road to the final.
Australia hit a disappointing 147 for six and England have now claimed their first major title in one day cricket.
