So the new new Wexford jersey, let’s call it the 2012 Wexford Jersey 2.0, has arrived, and you’ve got to love the photo they’ve posted on the official Wexford GAA site.
An early design of the jersey was leaked on Twitter a couple of weeks ago, when it’s probably fair to say the level of disappointment was outweighed by the general hilarity.
Perhaps taking that note of disapproval into account, the powers-that-be went back to the drawing board, and the newly modified version appeared on the county’s website overnight, with purple - we think it was purple - sleeves reverting to the yellow of recent years.
We’d love to be able to show it to you in all its glory, but this was the what the good folk in Wexford GAA put on display:

Some higher quality imagery is on the way. Whether the jersey will look any better in a high-res JPEG is, perhaps, a moot point.
