It’s a competitive job market out there, and this guy uses all his skills to really grab your attention. We don’t expect he’ll be unemployed for long.
The old A4 page with a declaration of an interest in ‘socialising’ isn’t going to cut it these days in the global jobs market. You have try to try and stand out and we have featured some cool CVs before, like UCD grad Jordan McDonnell’s slide-show effort.
This one, from a guy called Philippe Dubost, takes a different tack to McDonnell but it is equally clever.
Philippe takes the very well known Amazon page and tweaks it to his own needs. The page apes all the Amazon tricks, but each one is changed to display one aspect of his career to date with lots of clickable links to his LinkedIn page or own site, while the entire page is one giant indication of his obviously very sharp brain.
We especially like the ‘Frequently Brought Together’ section (he likes running and travel) and the job history popping up in the ‘Review’ section.
Clever fella, eh?
Hat-tip to Stephen O’Leary (@stephenoleary) and Darragh Doyle (@darraghdoyle) for alerting us to it.
