Celtic have gone for a colourful approach after unveiling their gold and green away kit.
The Bhoys will decked out in gold and green for most of their away days for this campaign with the club say is inspired “by the club’s colours and rich history.”
The kit will also feature a quote from the legendary figure of Sir Robert Kelly, who served as chairman for over four decades, which is stitched into the back of the neck.
“This Celtic Football Club is much more than a football club. To a lot of people it’s a way of life.”
With a green V-neck, green shorts and gold socks, the players will conspicuous on the pitch and the great news for all those of you who are environmentally conscious is that the kit is made from recycled polyester “to produce performance apparel with reduced environmental impact.” And it weighs just 150 grams, though we’ll spare you the rest of the blurb.
The kit goes on sale on the 9th of August, but what do the Celtic supporters make of the new design? Our hunch is that Jim McGuinness is more than pleased…
