Pics: Some serious flooding is building up around Croke Park
We’re sure the weekend’s football is fine… for now…
The wave after wave of thunderstorm hitting Dublin right now is causing some serious flooding around one of the most hallowed sites in the country, Croke Park.
Due to host three massive games tomorrow, GAA HQ is currently battling the elements with Jones’ Road completely under water.
The pictures, posted on Twitter by @jcourell, show the extent of the flooding thus far.

Let’s hope the rain stops. The pitch should be able to cope fine but the access for fans tomorrow could get very tricky if this torrential rain keeps up.
