Lukas Podolski has been getting a bit of a name for himself on Arsenal’s preseason tour this year thanks to the fact that he has one particular phrase that he won’t stop saying.
That phrase, whether purposely or not, is the same as the cult comedy hero Alan Partridge’s catch phrase “A ha!”, so the lads at Adidas sent him this lovely pair of boots with the message stitched on to it for him.
However, we did see the video of Podolski and the rest of the squad doing their version of the noise, and it’s not quite as Partridge as we hoped.
Still, we’re sure there’s a DVD of I’m Alan Partridge, Series 2 somewhere in Podolski Manor that might have served as a little piece of inspiration.
