Normally, they have to commit to the position at a young age to learn the skills, and it involves spending a lot of time on their own, organising their defence, and throwing themselves at the ball or the feet of oncoming strikers. If they play well, people think they've just done their job, but if they have a bad game, they'll be blamed for all the problems in the team. With all that in mind, it takes someone of a special mindset to take on the responsibility, and in this case, this junior team might just have found their man.
