Mario Balotelli’s career to date has been fairly filled with controversy, and he has generated plenty of column inches for journalists on slow news days around the world, from his native Italy to the tabloids of Britain during his time with Manchester City.
Tonight, in the huge game between his Milan side and Roma in Serie A, he chose to wear an epic pair of boots that had all of the best headlines written about him printed on them. We think you’ll agree that they are absolutely brilliant.
The game itself was hugely entertaining, getting very spiky in the second half, and it finished 2-2. If you can catch the highlights, they’re well worth a watch, if for nothing else than to see Balotelli’s boots.
