In particular, Gombe United seem to have really struggled, scoring just four away while conceding 39, or Nembe City, who managed to get a muscular seven goals, but also conceded 41. Champions Kano Pillars were almost unbeatable at home, but only picked up six points on the road. They do say you do have to win your home games, we suppose.
Poor old Kwara United, the only team to have the temerity to win more than two matches away from home all year, ended up being relegated. Funny that. Now, as our lawyers have told us to make very clear, this doesn't mean anything, but we can't imagine too many fans bother going on the away trips in Nigeria anyway.
