Real Madrid have stepped up their interest in Manchester United hitman Javier Hernandez, requesting that the club name its price for the 20-goal striker.
According to reports this morning, United are preparing to treble Chicharito’s wages, which currently stand at just €28,000, in a bid to keep him at the club.
The wage hike promise is believed to have been triggered after Real made a direct approach to the Glazers about the star.
However, Ferguson is believed to be determined to hang on to the 23-year-old who has been a sensation since signing for the club from Chivas for €9m.
