Ted creator Seth MacFarlane is set to make a comedy western with Charlize Theron and Amanda Seyfried.
By Genna Patterson
Seth MacFarlane has turned his sights to a new comedy western called A Million Ways to Die in the West. MacFarlane has written the screenplay and will direct and star in the movie.

Charlize Theron
MacFarlane will play the lead role of an awkward farmer who retreats from a gunfight and then his girlfriend leaves him. Reports suggest that the girlfriend role could go to Amanda Seyfried of Les Miserables. He then meets an infamous gunslinger’s wife – to be played by Charlize Theron who offers to teach him how to shoot. MacFarlane agrees, believing it will win him back his girlfriend.

Amanda Seyfried
A Million Ways to Die in the West is due to start production in May and is MacFarlane’s next feature after the successful comedy Ted. If its anything like Ted, or Family Guy, we can expect plenty of inappropriate laughs.
MacFarlane is set to host for the Academy Awards this year on February 24.
