An Israeli man was bitten in a very sensitive area while sitting on the toilet, but thankfully is expected to make a full recovery.
In a story that will have every man wincing, the unfortunate man was sitting on the throne and soon felt a “burning sensation” according to the Huffington Post
He soon realised it was from a snake lurking underneath the bowl – not all that uncommon in the Middle East at this time of year we are led to believe – before being rushed to Haifa hospital.
Thankfully the bite was found to be not venomous though according to the hospital “there will undoubtedly be bite marks on the area in question”.
Paramedics even claimed the man was making light of the situation, cracking jokes at his own expense.
To all men, just be careful on the next journey to the bathroom, who knows what is out there!
