Liverpool striker Iago Aspas, on a season-long loan with Seville, had his Twitter account hacked last night and whoever it was had a great sense of humour.

Aspas was signed by Liverpool last summer from Celta Vigo, but didn’t really settle and will always be remembered for this hilarious corner against Chelsea in that big, big match at Anfield towards the end of last season:

The ruthless hacker of Aspas’ Twitter account made sure that this event was not forgotten as they went to town on social media last night. First off he changed his handle from ‘Iago Aspas Juncal’ to ‘Iago Corner Aspas’. Then he got busy:

JOE fancies themselves as an accomplished sleuth and there’s more than a hint of Irishness from the hacker judging by the use of the word ‘chief’ here:

He soon became very confused when he started receiving notifications:

Good man Iago, all’s fair in love and war and all that malarkey.
