Sneak preview of new Barca jersey

Thanks to the guys at 101greatgoals, we have a sneak preview of the Barcelona jersey for next season. The club that famously prided itself on avoiding sponsorship on the jersey to remain true to its tradition has moved away from that, with Qatar Airways taking pride and place on the front.

But as the image suggests, this is Top Secret. If you tell/show anyone, to quote Liam Neeson in Taken, “I will find you and I will kill you”.

Madness as sub keeper invades pitch to save certain goal

Yes, you guessed it. It happened in South America, but where else could it be we ask you? This game was tipping along nicely in the lower echelons of the Argentinian leagues before a bizarre moment occurred.

San Martin were on the back-foot with Bell Ville on the attack. The reserve keeper was standing behind the goal when he spotted the danger and rushed onto the field to save a certain goal after their keeper was beaten.

To rub salt into the wounds, Bell Ville were only awarded an indirect free-kick which was not converted, leaving the team slightly aggrieved. And we have seen how upset South American can react.

The term super-sub technically isn’t correct, but it might just work in this case.

Neymar blames pitch for penalty miss

Neymar’s penalty miss against Colombia was pretty horrific, whatever way you look at it. Some have suggested it ended up in the Ramos-sphere while others thought he was aiming for Felix Baumgartner. The striker himself has conveniently blamed the pitch.

“The penalty was horrible but you probably noticed the state the pitch was in, it didn't have any stability,” he told Sambafoot.com

"I tried to take it slowly but it didn't work out, these things happen,” he said. These things don’t happen that often it has to be said, and that’s why we are still chuckling at the attempt.
