Paddy’s Day has gone global people.
There’s no better weekend in the year to tap into the patriotism within Irish people and make them proud to call this country their home.
Already this week, we’ve had a couple of stunning pieces of footage – a Fáilte Ireland video and a lovely montage of life in Dublin – to remind us that Ireland isn’t such a bad place to live in and you can expect the rest of the world to pay tribute when some of the most famous buildings in the world go green at some point between now and Monday.
Egypt got the ball rolling by turning two of the most famous landmarks in the country, and indeed the world, green last night with Tourism Ireland posting pictures of the Pyramids and the Sphinx in their new colours on their Twitter account.

Now that the rest of the world has seen it, it’s time to walk like an Egyptian and follow suit *JOE goes to get coat*
