A further three people have been arrested by Gardai in connection with the murder of David Byrne in Inchicore on Saturday, March 19th.
The three men, who are all in their teens, were arrested earlier today and are currently being held at stations across the south inner city.
Byrne, 19, was stabbed to death after being chased from Davitt House complex in Drimnagh to a car park at the Emmet Court apartment block in Inchicore.
He was discovered in the car park at 10:30pm that night and was brought to St James’ Hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
It takes the number of arrests in connection to this incident to fourteen, with reports last week suggesting that the death was the result of a dispute between drug dealers.
