Main Event: An Idiot Abroad 2, Sky 1, 22.00 – 23.00

Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are evil people. Funny people, but very, very evil.

In the second series of their Sky 1 hit, An Idiot Abroad, the two lads send their best bud and unintentional genius Karl Pilkington off for more adventures around the world. This particular episode is set in Thailand and Australia and sees two of evolution’s finest acheivements come face to face as Karl meets a Great White shark.

God bless the shark.

Sporting Pick: Rugbai Beo , Connacht v Ulster, TG4, 19.20 – 22.00 or BBC2 NI, 19.30 – 21.50

After failing to score a point against the Ulstermen earlier in the season, Connacht will be out to make sure they don’t make the same mistake twice. With Ulster riding high at the top of the table and Connacht in ninth, both teams have had mixed form of late but Connacht will look to their performance at the Sportsground last season though when they won 26 -21.

Movie Pick: Forgetting Sarah Marshall, UTV, 22.35 – 00.35

Jason Segel is a struggling musician who is devastated when his girlfriend, played by Kristen Bell, leaves him for a sex-crazed rocker who is, not surprisingly, played by Russell Brand.

Things pick up though when he meets Mila Kunis (obviously they would) and she inspires him to get back on track and fulfill his dream of writing a Dracula musical inspired by the Muppets.

Definitely funnier than I’m making it sound.
