Andy Gray will replace Michael Owen in the BT Sport commentary box for this evening’s FA Cup Fourth Round clash between Stevenage and Everton.
The 58-year-old was sacked by Sky, along with anchor Richard Keys, three years ago after the pair were found to have made sexist comments about match official Sian Massey.
Welcome to Andy Gray, who joins the @btsport team on co-commentary duties. Starting tomorrow.

The reaction, surprisingly, seems to be one of relief that monotone’s Owen will not be allowed to paint his unique shade of beige all over our Saturday evening.
For every one person against Andy Gray co-commentating for @btsport there are 10,000 more that want Michael Owen to stay overseas for good

Think I must be the only person who can’t stand Andy Gray. Anything’s better than Owen though I suppose. #domeafavourlove

Briefly got excited when I saw Andy Gray was replacing Owen… then saw it was only a one-off FA Cup appearance :((

Andy Gray just 24 hours from returning to football commentary. Take that sexism! — Stephen Hough (@SteH90) January 25, 2014
Couple of days away and back to the news that Andy Gray has TV work on BT. Would love to know Clare Balding’s thoughts on that.

you’d think given that the country is run by a pc-mafia & you can’t say anything anymore we could at least keep andy gray off the tv

Are @btsport out of their minds? Yesterday’s neanderthal and a poor commentator as well. Hardly the new Gary Neville. http://t.co/Rpo3OwA2KF
