Video: As terrible ideas go, this one is right up there as these guys play with fireworks.

These guys clearly are not the smartest as they decide to mess around with a few fireworks and end up worse for wear.

These three lads look like they're having a great bit of craic firing off a few fireworks that they've got lying around, and come up with the genius idea of launching them out of their hands.
The first one is a small one, and goes off without a hitch, and on the back of the success of their second, slightly larger attempt, they decide to go for the motherload and light up the third huge bunch.
They probably should have taken it as a sign that they were really struggling to get it lit, but instead they persevered, and probably regretted it later. By the looks of it, everyone was ok as there was no update on injuries and they seem to still be laughing at the end, but we imagine the guy who was left holding the fireworks will have a ringing in his ears for a few days to come.
