We’ve seen no end of newsreader bloopers in our time and earlier this week we featured an Aussie newsreader who got in trouble after a bit of flirting with Irish man Allan Dixon gave her a fit of the giggles at an inopportune time.
Now another Australian newsreader has had a very bad day, but this time it was the autocue that was her downfall.
As Helen Kapalos tried to tell viewers of Today Tonight the latest on their new PM Kevin Rudd the autocue stopped working, leaving Kapalos to fill.
She does, for almost a full minute, but some of that just involves staring straight at the camera filled with abject fear. However bad a day you’re having, it is better than hers.
