When you're the ball boy at a women's football match, you should expect to come under fire from wayward shots. Evidently nobody told this poor chap.

Following an optimistic shot from outside the box, the child ballboy watched the ball sail over the ball and for a split-second, took his eye off the ball. His punishment? It hit the fencing behind him and snapped back to strike him square in the face.

Punishment for taking his eye off the ball and for being forced to watch 90 minutes of women's football? We're not quite sure, but the kid has our sympathies.
