Here we have a video which takes a behind the scenes look at how the cast and crew of The Bourne Legacy managed to shoot a top class film in one of the world's busiest cities.
Manila is the capital of the Philippines and in case you’ve never been there you can trust us when we say that it’s a fairly busy place. It has a population of 1,655,000 people so closing off streets in order to shoot a movie may seem like an impossible task.
Thankfully, the producers of the movie learned that the President of the Philippines, Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III, actually loves the Bourne franchise and he said there would be no problem in closing down streets. How handy was that?
While the producers and crew were able to shut down entire sections of road so that Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner) could save the day, the one thing they couldn’t do was shut down the railway service, as you’ll find out at the end of the video.
Check it out for a unique look at what actually goes on behind the camera and what’s involved in shooting a five-minute scene in one of the world’s busiest cities.
