Atletico Madrid’s brilliant start to the season shows no sign of slowing down and Diego Costa added to his goal haul with a stunning bicycle kick last night.
Atletico kept three points ahead of city rivals Real and are just three behind Barcelona as Getafe were put to the sword in a 7-0 rout.
Costa has been in blistering form all season, and with Atletico five goals to the good, he was eased into the action from the bench. He needed just seven minutes to get on the scoresheet with this powerful acrobatic finish.

That takes his tally to to 14 goals in 17 La Liga appearances, just three behind some guy called Ronaldo across town and six ahead of a group of players in third place in the scoring charts, including team-mate David Villa and the injured Leo Messi.
Not a bad addition to the the Spanish squad.
