We’re not so sure why England’s Sam Burgess agreed to hand over his shorts to this female rugby league fan in the first place when she asked him after the quarter final win over France this weekend, but for some reason he duly obliged, and she was very happy to receive them.
You might even say she was positively giddy, but what she did next was just a little bit strange, as she ran excitedly back to her seat, sniffing her prize.
