Since he has left us, we have been very quiet on the old Trap news. Rumours continue to float that the 73-year-old will be back in management soon, with talk that he may even have a gig at the World Cup with some as yet unknown team.

Until then, he is making the odd media appearance, and he popped up on German TV this week, chewing the fat on a show called Markus Lanz.

Our German-speaking JOE is out and about today, so we can’t tell you a word of what he says but you don’t need the lingo to understand what happens here.

In the middle of a chat, the discussion is disturbed by two topless protesters who are from the group Femen, who have become very well known for their topless protests all around Europe.

This time they were highlighting the awarding by Fifa of the World Cup to Qatar, with the message ‘Don’t play with human rights’ written on the stomach of one of the protesters.

Trap greets their arrival with a broad smile, so we have to assume he sympathises with their views…
