Belgian Second Division leaders Mouscron-Péruwelz beat Hoogstraten 2-1, thanks in no small part to van der Linden and one of the most incredible penalties you are ever likely to see.
The attempted tackle after the save leaves a lot to be desired and the goalkeeper didn’t exactly cover himself in glory either, but without doubt it was the best penalty miss and follow up we have laid eyes on.
Not too shabby at all.
